American Job Centers (AJCs) – previously known as one-stop centers – are designed to provide a variety of employment-related services. More than 2,500 AJCs are located throughout the country. The centers provide an array of high-quality services so that workers, job seekers, and businesses can conveniently find the help they need under one roof in easy to reach locations. The Lower Shore American Job Center, serving Somerset, Wicomico and Worcester Counties, is conveniently located in Salisbury, Maryland. With a variety of partner programs available, it is designed to help businesses find qualified workers and to help job seekers obtain employment and training services to enhance their careers.
